Icy Lake - A PuzzleScript Prototype
Icy Lake - A PuzzleScript Prototype
Introduction:
Icy Lake is a little prototype (three simple levels) made with PuzzleScript as a first quick exercise for the Making Game course from ITU's MSc in Games.
This was the first time I played around with PuzzleScript to make a little game and it was quite fun!
Objective:
- Collect all the acorns and bring them to your tree! 🌰🐿️🌲
Obstacles:
- You are a squirrel who doesn't know how to swim, so be careful not to step on the craked ice, or you'll fall into the cold water! 🥶
Controls:
- x = select a menu option / close a message
- arrow keys = movement and to talk to other animals
- z = undo an action
- r = restart
Version:
Prototype v01 - 04/09/2023

Great concept, it reminds me of a gameboy game but it doesn't come to mind. Excellent work anyway!
(the idea is definitely not inspired by those puzzles in the pokémon games no no
it isxD)Thank you Kevin! <3
Great JOB!!!!
Oh thank you! <3
Incredibly charming and an awesome concept. I want more of it 😍
Thank you! I’m really glad that the idea tuned out well =D
I like the little characters, a very good job!
Thank you! I'm no artist so figuring out how to simplify the animals enough took me little bit of time and experimentation xD
The win sound effect is ear-piercing
Nice little prototype!
Thank you! <3
